Support Her Journey to Beat MDS

I'm a 37-year-old mother of 5 with a passion for medicine. Recently, I received a diagnosis of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a group of related conditions that disrupt the body's ability to produce healthy blood cells. MDS is a type of blood cancer.

My treatment plan involves chemotherapy starting on February 24, 2025, followed by intermittent blood transfusions during the course of the treatment. After chemotherapy, I'll need a bone marrow transplant. To facilitate this, I'll need to relocate to Baltimore for four months, which will require me to be closer to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

During this time, I'll be unable to work and will need financial assistance to cover my medical expenses and monthly bills.
