Final Step to Becoming a Nurse: Help us clear this barrier
My daughter is 50 years old and made the brave decision to return to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Despite the challenges of balancing life, work, and school, she completed her LPN program at Prism Career Institute in June 2025.
Today, she works in a school supporting children with disabilities, showing her compassion, patience, and commitment to helping others daily.
However, she cannot take her state licensing exam (NCLEX-PN) because of an outstanding tuition balance. The school will not schedule her exam until the balance is paid. They have offered a settlement of $7,700, but it must be paid by June.
If this deadline is missed, she may be required to take remedial courses due to the time that has lapsed since her completion. This would create another financial strain and delay her taking the test.
She is doing everything she can, but her current income only covers essential living expenses—rent, car, food, and gas.
There is simply nothing left to put toward this balance. We are asking for help to get her over this final hurdle so she can sit for her exam and begin working as a Licensed Practical Nurse, serving others in an even greater way.
This is not just a bill. It's about completing a journey she worked incredibly hard to achieve.
Any amount helps. Even sharing this page can make a difference.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, support, and belief in her future.
