On August 19th, around 8:00 PM, a devastating accident changed our friend’s life forever.

While riding a motorcycle at a low speed on a small village road, she lost control after the front wheel hit raised drainage covers that were sticking out of the road surface. The impact caused her to crash, resulting in extremely severe injuries.

She suffered a broken spine, severe injuries to her neck, internal bleeding in her brain, and a punctured lung. Her condition was critical, and she had to be hospitalized in the intensive care unit for two months.

Since the accident, she has undergone spinal surgery and still faces more operations ahead. Doctors will need to perform additional procedures to stabilize her neck and arms in order to prevent further paralysis complications.

Her lungs currently require medical support to function properly, and her body is still recovering from the trauma. She also has a urinary catheter because her body is not yet able to send the normal signals for urination. Doctors say it will take a long time for her body to adapt to the changes caused by such a serious accident.

The road to recovery will be long, painful, and extremely expensive. Multiple surgeries, medical treatments, rehabilitation, and long-term care will be necessary for her to regain as much independence as possible.

We are raising funds to help cover the overwhelming medical costs and give her the best possible chance to recover and rebuild her life.
