Support Her Cancer Battle After Loss

As many of you know, I started this GoFundMe for a member of my family after an insane beginning of a battle with cancer and an even more insane inability to get the treatment she needs until she can pay off a portion of her anticipated bill. Colleen lost her mother, who was basically a second mother to me, to cancer in 2023. Regardless of her pleas with doctors to believe in her intuition that something was wrong with her body, she was turned away for months until she finally found someone who would listen to her. Sadly, by that time, she found out she had stage 4 cancer and it was aggressive. She has undergone 20 weeeks of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and now is waiting to start more chemo and radiation. Sadly, she is not able to begin this next step in her treatment until she pays off a portion of her medical bill - which is $15,000 (her overall bill exceeds $200k but this is the down payment required) - she is too proud to ever ask anyone for help but she’s like a sister to me.
