Help Us Lay Henry Jack Justice to Rest

Hello, my name is Alyviah, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my Nana, Robin Justice, who recently lost the love of her life in an unexpected and heartbreaking tragedy.

A Life of Love and Dedication

Jack (Henry) was more than a husband. He was an amazing father, brother, son, grandfather, and a true family man. He was selfless, always putting others before himself, no matter how he was feeling.

He leaves behind:
• His loving wife: Robin Justice
• Two stepdaughters: Christina Knox and Tamara Churchill
• Four grandchildren: Emerald Byrd (4), Bentley Byrd (12), Derenic Byrd Jr. (16), and Alyviah Stewart (23)
• Younger brother: Gary Justice

His grandchildren were the light of his life, and his love for them was unconditional.

My Personal Story with Papa

My Nana and Papa raised me until I was 8 years old, but they never stopped showing up for me. When I started high school, Papa drove me every single day of my freshman year. Even when I was going through hard times (moving between mom and dads place or in foster care), they always found me. Their love was a constant and unconditional in my life.

A Sudden and Tragic Loss

On the night of June 2nd, 2025, my world changed. My Papa, my lifelong best friend, passed away in a sudden, tragic accident. It wasn’t due to illness or age . it was a freak accident, one that still doesn’t feel real. We used to joke about the difference between a “big bite” and a “Papa bite,” but this time, his last bite had a mind of its own.

I rushed to my Nana’s house, which is normally a 27-minute drive but turned into 15 minute blur. Still, I was too late. When I arrived, the lights were flashing, but there were no sirens. I found him lying on the floor… still, cold, uncovered. I laid beside him. I held his hand. I stayed with him until they took him away. It became so real the moment they turned off his oxygen machine. Half of me left with him. He was my sweet Papa, and I was his little punkin.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Papa’s life insurance was issued in the 1980s, and due to the policy terms, it was cut in half after he turned 70. He was a proud member of the Duwamish Tribe, but since they’re not federally recognized, we don’t qualify for tribal support.

All we want is to lay him to rest with the honor and love he deserves.

His birthday is coming up (July 15th) and we want to do something special for him. Right now, any donation, big or small, will help cover cremation/memorial costs and ease the financial burden on my Nana as she grieves the loss of her life partner.

Please Consider Donating

If you ever had the joy of meeting my papa, you know what a kind, goofy, and deeply loving soul he was. He touched every life he encountered. Help us give him the goodbye he deserves. No donation is too small. Even sharing this page helps more than you know. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in paradise my sweet papa
