This is Henry. If you know me, you know that for the past 14 years, he has been my best buddy, my adventure companion, my rock, and my heart. He has been with me through the most difficult period of my life, and I truly don't know what I would have done without him.

For the past 4 days, he was very lethargic and not his usual peppy self. I took him to the vet and was forwarded to an emergency hospital yesterday. Henry is currently in the hospital and has been diagnosed with serious heart disease. As I was typing this, I received a call from his heart doctor, and he told me that on medication, he has about 9 months to a year to live. I am devastated. I can't imagine a world without my little friend.

I am sure all of you with pets know how expensive these moments are. I have seen many GoFundMe campaigns for veterinary costs in the past and have contributed to many as well. These costs are, of course, my responsibility, but I am currently at $7,500 unexpected dollars and I believe it will be close to $10,000 by the end of next week. I like the idea of crowdsourcing these unexpected costs to assist in these moments. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
