Help Henock Rebuild His Life After Homelessness Story: Henock was a hardworking man with two jobs, doing everything he could to build a stable life and support his mother. He was independent, responsible, and proud to be able to help his family. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, everything changed. Henock lost both of his jobs. One setback led to another, and over time he lost his housing, his income, and eventually even his citizenship paperwork. For the past five years, Henock has been homeless, struggling just to survive. Despite the hardships, he never gave up. We’ve recently connected Henock with a lawyer to help him restore his citizenship status — an important first step. But rebuilding a life takes more than paperwork. Henock needs help with basic necessities like housing, food, transportation, and continued legal and personal support.
