hello I’m Hennessie and I’m currently in need of community support for fighting an active eviction, we’ve currently been locked out of our apartment with us being forced to leave Salem (our cat ) inside right now , (the marshal changed our locks with maintenance) because we were unable to get a carrier in enough time (we had 10 mins ) , even though we have a pending one shot deal in which it is supposed to prevent that situation, Our landlord is currently suing us for funds from C0vid 2019-before she even bought the building, our landlord has charged us $100 late fees even tho legally she cannot , because we have a housing assistance program we can not be charged such , our landlord has failed to fix anything we’ve ever made complaints of unless HRA or 311 mandates it, Our landlord never cashed in any of our rent money orders or any loans that have been mailed /sent to her office , thus letting the debt accumulate and making it harder for us to chip away at the debt even more , our landlord fails to answer any phone calls or emails in regards to the active case it seems as tho we are the only ones that are trying to resolve the issue the best way we can and she’s just trying to get rid of her last rent stabilized tenant to up the rent , we have lived in this apartment since we were both 19 (2018 ) freshly out of high school and a shelter we made a lot of mistakes in the beginning but we quickly started taking the proper route in attempting to make payments on time and towards the debt in general and for some reason she just does not accept the payments unless online on a specific app made for our rent and even that’s not enough most times. I work from home and need to be able to have a home in order to function normally, as I have a routine I have set in place that causes me immense stress and anxiety when thrown off , We just would really like to move past this huge burden and even eventually move out if we must to stop dealing with this stressful never ending nightmare but we cannot do anything unless this debt is paid off or at-least a large portion of it , please if you can find it in your heart to spare anything my way I would greatly appreciate every penny and use it to pay off the total remaining debt and just try to heal and to rebuild my hope in life, and not constantly be depressed and scared of losing my housing every month because my landlord decides she’s not going to accept my rent.
