My husband and I are from the mountains of NC. Helene has hit Jared's hometown and many are without power and in need of supplies and a warm meal. With no power, a boil advisory, and stores that are able to open only accepting cash, families are struggling to clean up the mess and feed their families.

Any funds raised will be used to purchase food to support our local church, Edneyville United Methodist Church so that they can cook a warm meal for those in need. They have already fed 300+ people in 1 day and we hope to continue their efforts.

We are also coordinating with the Edneyville Volunteer Fire Department to feed the front line fire fighters and rescue personnel in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We want to fuel their team so they can continue to help the community and save lives.
