Hello and thank you for considering donating to the Helt's Prairie Cemetery Fund through the Vermillion County Community Foundation. As one of two privately owned cemeteries in Vermillion County, Helt's Prairie relies solely on income from selling burial plots and private donations to maintain the cemetery. We are working with the Vermillion County Community Foundation to raise $10,000 to start a community fund for the cemetery that will grow over time, to help ensure future generations of caretakers are able to maintain the grounds, and so families can rest assured their loved one's stones are cared for.
