Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

In our community, there is a small Muslim shelter that serves as a safe haven for sisters and their children during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. For many, this is their only refuge — a place to feel secure, begin healing, and rebuild with dignity.

At this time, the shelter is facing urgent structural issues. Severe water leaks have damaged the roof, multiple rooms, and the basement. If not addressed quickly, this could lead to mold and further deterioration, putting the health and safety of the families at serious risk.

Our sisters and their children deserve a clean, safe, and stable environment.

Alhamdulliah, we have found a contractor willing to complete the necessary repairs at a very reasonable cost. We are now launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to restore and protect this home.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 by the end of Ramadan (March 19, before midnight), inshaAllah.
