Help Helios Creed Heal, Relocate, and Create Again

Hi, my name is Shari Wenzel, and I’ve been a close friend of Helios since 1988.

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to our previous fundraiser. Because of you, Helios has been able to keep a roof over his head and take care of his immediate needs. Your kindness truly made a difference.

Since then, there have been some new developments.

Helios recently suffered a heart attack and continues to face ongoing health issues. He is also a two-time cancer survivor, and like many artists who have given so much of themselves over the years, he now needs support.

At this point, we are working to relocate Helios from Los Angeles to Texas, where his son Eric and close friends can ensure he has consistent support and stability.

This move is about more than just logistics—it’s about giving Helios a chance to heal and reconnect with his music.

Transportation from Los Angeles to Texas

Safe relocation and transition costs

Living support during the move

Getting his music equipment set up again

For Helios, music isn’t just what he does—it’s who he is. Having his gear with him again means he can return to writing, playing, and producing, which is a huge part of his healing process.

Helios Creed is not only a dear friend—he is a legend in underground music.

From his work with Chrome in the late ’70s to his solo career, Helios has influenced countless artists, including:

Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Butthole Surfers, Killing Joke, and many more.

After a lifetime of sharing his talent with the world, he now needs our help.

Helios will be moving to a place where he will have people around him consistently, allowing him to focus on recovery and creativity in a supportive environment.
