I am raising funds for my niece-in-law, Helena Beccue. She was rear-ended in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. They took her to the hospital for a CT scan to be sure she didn't have a concussion. The CT scan revealed a discovery that she never dreamed of. Helena was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor is a non-cancerous meningioma, almost 2" in diameter. Since then, her world has been turned upside down. My nephew, Clayton, died in a terrible car accident 13 years ago. After their father died, Helena has been raising her 2 children by herself and is the sole supporter for her family. She is working as a Medication Tech and is going to school while working to get a degree in Hospital Administration. Her son has autism and is not able to work or live on his own. She had an MRI last week, and she has an appointment with a neurosurgeon in early December to see what the next step is. She has been having headaches and dizzy spells caused by the tumor. She needs help with her medical bills, surgery, and living expenses, since she will be missing some work because of this. When they operate to remove the tumor, she will miss weeks of work while recovering. I missed 18 weeks of work when I had brain tumor surgery for a meningioma in 2001. Your donations will be used to assist in medical expenses and overall living expenses during this period of treatment and recovery. Please pray for a full recovery from her brain tumor. Thank you.
