Support Helen Jordan's Funeral Expenses

My name is Kristin Henson, I am the daughter of Helen Jordan, who passed away recently on January 9th, 2025. My mom has struggled with her Melanoma cancer diagnosis for 4 years. In October of 2024, my mother started to experience some intense lower back pain, and to her dismay, could never get a solid answer of why. In November of 2024, we were given devastating news that she had suddenly entered stage 4 and her cancer had spread all over her body. Also including her brain and spine, which resulted in mental confusion, and a crushed vertebrae. Doctors performed major back surgery to try to help relieve pressure from the tumor on her nerves to help improve her lower extremities. Unfortunately she was not a candidate for surgery to help with the tumor in her brain. My mom had lost all function below her waist, and everyday for her was a struggle with frustration, confusion, and severe pain. Her only request was to go home, so on Christmas Day we brought her home to be cared for by hospice. Our family surrounded her in her last days, made her comfortable, and gave her the most support and love that we could possibly give. My family is consumed in grief and heartbreak for the tremendous loss of my mother. Even through the devastation, we are thankful that she is now free from her pain and with the Lord.

Unfortunately my mother did not have life insurance so we are trying to process her death, along with finances for her funeral. We are asking the community for support and help. If it is within your means, and in your heart, we would appreciate any donation to help lay my mother to rest.
