Support Hela's Fight for Health and Hope

My name is Leah and I'm raising funds for my fur baby Hela. A simple vet visit for allergies turned into a $600 visit finding out she's really sick. There is something really wrong with her liver. She has a lot of fluid in her abdominal area and when the vet checked the fluid it was diluted blood. Her bloodwork came back off the charts and we don't know what to do. We are late for rent due to this vet visit and have no support system. Hela is only 6.5 years old and all we have. Our other yellow lab Thor passed away a year and a half ago at the age of 10 due to cancer.

The next steps in treatment would be a board certified ultrasound, more detailed blood work, and extensive test to get a better understanding of whether what's going on is treatable or terminal.

I work full-time and my husband did as well but he works at Duke University's IT Department and he was just put down to part-time due to a massive $200 million dollar budget cut.

I have can provide copies of her lab results and vet receipts and treatment plan cost if requested.

I hate asking for help but I can't let my pride hinder my baby's health. She's all my husband and I care about. Even if the illness ends up being terminal, the funds would pay for the end of life expenses. Thank you for reading and donating.
