Heidi is a Siamese cat who her owner loves very much. She is brave, independent, and loving, and can sometimes be seen taking walks around the neighborhood with her owner.

On Saturday, a terrible event nearly took her life when a gun accidentally discharged in the home. The stray bullet struck her and passed clean through her body and out the other side. She was taken to the vet for emergency treatment.

Miraculously, the bullet missed her vital organs and required little more than stitches and a blood transfusion. After an overnight stay at the vet, she returned home to recuperate.

Heidi is very lucky to be alive, and her owner is beyond grateful that he didn't lose a loved one. However, he has a limited income and is asking for help paying the veterinary bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would help support the recovery of a loving feline.
