Support Heidi's Heart Surgery Journey

I’m Taylor and one of my dear friends and coworker, Shelby Sells delivered her beautiful baby girl, Heidi Layne on 3/20/24 who appeared to be completely healthy. Over the last 3 months unforeseen health complications have taken its toll and Heidi spent many days on the pediatric unit due to feeding issues and failure to thrive. On her most recent admission she was due to get a permanent feeding tube when the doctors discovered a heart murmur. After several tests, it has been confirmed that Heidi has 4 VSD’s (essentially holes in her heart) one of which is large and will require surgical interventions. Her little heart is already enlarged from working in overtime since birth. She finally got to go home after a week stay with a permanent g-tube and the plan is to get her strong enough for surgery in between 6 and 9 months of age. Shelby spent her entire maternity leave from her job as a mother/baby RN struggling to find answers, different hospital stays, and several specialist visits. Unfortunately, she will have to return to work before Heidi has surgery due to the financial strain. I would like to raise money to help relieve some of the financial stress and help cover prior and future medical expenses. Prayers are also extremely appreciated!
