To the family, friends & loved ones of our cherished Heidi Nell Hansen, my name is Tiffanie Jensen, a close family friend of Heidi’s & Heidi’s oldest daughter Cassidy who has always had Heidi in my life as a loving extra mother figure.

It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing an outreach request for an abundance of support at this time with the sudden overnight passing of Heidi Nell Hansen who passed peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep on March 25, 2024 just a couple of days after her 51st birthday on March 22nd.

Heidi lived a beautiful life as a resilient, single mother for many years to her cherished daughters, Cassidy, Courteney & Sophie and she taught each of them to be fierce, to be free spirited, and to be true to themselves despite any hardships and challenges that life threw her way.

Heidi had this beautiful way of encouraging others around her and sharing her light because she knew many moments of discouragement and overcoming dark seasons throughout her life path where she needed the same kind of upliftment.

In her recent heartfelt post on her Facebook the day before her last birthday, Heidi shared:

“I am really needing some love and courage through this part of my life. I have been emerging for the last two years and am praying that I can emerge like the phoenix. Tomorrow I turn 51. I was thinking a lot about how hard the last 2 years have been but then I become in a place gratitude. I have learned more about spirituality then I have in the first 49.

I got clean, the most impressive thing in my life and I got Charlie Coco. I Watched Cassidy become a beautiful mother and then Lulu loving school. My girls have grown up to be these beautiful, unique strong women. They are breaking the chain of addiction. My life has not been that cookie cutter bullshit but real strength. I have not danced to any drum but my own drum, sometimes it’s classical or metal,alternative, jazz all genres besides country. I have lost so much but now I am gaining so much. I don’t ever want to be the girl who just gives up or living in survival mode.

There have been so many people that have just came and gone but my core tribe has never left me.”

Heidi always had a Diet Coke in her hand, a car window down, with Fleetwood Mac songs playing in the background and kept

her house with lit candles and an abundance of love for those around her.

She felt most like herself in nature and sunshine and always shared her inspiring, deeply heartfelt thoughts about life and second chances and never giving up.

In 2023 Heidi became a Grandmother to her cherished first Grandlove, Charlie Coco Ballard belonging to her first born Cassidy & her husband Gunnar Ballard. Heidi so loved this heart bursting, magical little happy girl and her new chapters of being a Grandma. Heidi was always extremely proud of her girls Cassidy and Courteney for following their hearts and always wanting her family to keep each other close and be of support to one another.

Heidi is proceeded in passing by her cherished brother Court who she was so close to, and she got through and is survived by her loving parents Linda Lord Hansen & Marc J Hansen, and her daughters Cassidy & Courteney and friends and family who have stood by Heidi’s side through her years of outreach as she prioritized healing, growth, sobriety and her own beautiful becoming.

We are asking for fundraising support to help with funeral expenses and planning and will keep loved ones updated on plans for honoring Heidi’s life as arrangements are made. Heidi’s family asks for prayers as they process this deep loss.
