Dear Friends,

I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Heidi and her beautiful daughter Mia, who have fallen on hard times. Heidi recently lost her only sibling, her sister, and two weeks later was let go from her job, which also resulted in the loss of health insurance, and having to pay for Cobra. The house she was renting is being sold. A new rental was found, but right before Heidi signed the lease, she found out about her job loss. Now they have no permanent home to live in and are putting their entire contents of their house in storage until she finds a job and can get approved for an apartment to rent.

They are packing without help, despite Heidi's severe chronic back pain. The most urgent needs are covering expenses related to the move and insurance, until she gets a job or goes on Medicaid.

Heidi has even put her cherished violin bow on consignment to make ends meet.

I am asking for any financial support during this time of crisis.

Heidi will be couch surfing, and Mia will be staying with a friend. Thankfully, they will have roof over their heads.
