Beloved Hedgerow community,
Beth and Ty are so grateful for 30 years (!) of community and all the amazing children and families that have come through Hedgerow's preschool and summer camp.
Like many other businesses, Hedgerow had a difficult 2020. Due to shutdowns in the first months of the pandemic and December and increased costs around sanitation and ventilation, we did not break even last year. Like many childcares and women-owned small businesses, Hedgerow has always operated on a thin margin and while we are proud of having kept our community safe and healthy throughout the pandemic, we are facing hard choices in the months ahead.
We know there are many worthy causes to support during these times and this year has been more financially challenging than ever for many of us. If you have the means, even small donations mean the world to us! Funds will be used to cover rent to maintain our ability to operate at the Hedgerow property, investments in air filtering technology, and continued sustainability of the school and camp.
We appreciate every dollar. For those families who are able to give $150 or more, we will be thrilled to invite you to a ICE CREAM SOCIAL REUNION in late 2021 or early 2022, when it is safe to do so.
If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser with your extended Hedgerow friends and families is also deeply appreciated!
