Support Hector Mercado After Tragic Loss

I’m starting this GoFund for one of my dearest friends, Hector Mercado, who lost his only son, Caleb, in a horrible car accident early Sunday morning. Caleb’s uncle is currently in the hospital in critical condition. They were on their way home from a racing event when his uncle lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road.

I met Caleb many, many years ago at a party his dad threw. Caleb was a sweet boy who loved his parents. I got to watch as Caleb grew up into a very charming, charismatic young man. He wore his heart on his sleeve and had very big dreams. He was also a huge fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, which he shared that love and passion with his dad.

As Caleb’s family navigates through this tragic and untimely loss, we are reaching out to his friends, family, and the community to support his family that was left behind to pick up the pieces.
