Hello, my name is Jona, I live in Hunterdon County NJ and I am facilitating a fundraising effort to support the basic survival of my friend Heba Shaban Ayesh and her family in Gaza.
I have been in ongoing communication with Heba for several months and have verified her legitimacy on multiple fronts.
Anything helps.
Heba’s message to you:
My name is Heba. I live with my family of seven in Gaza… in a place that no longer resembles life, in the midst of genocide, surrounded by death that follows us every moment. Every day we wake up not knowing: will we survive until the end of the day, or will we be just bodies pulled from under the rubble?
Everything around us is collapsing… we have nothing left. No safe home, no enough food, no clean water. Prices have increased tenfold, twentyfold, and what we could afford yesterday has become an impossible dream today. We search for anything… any bite, any drop of water, just to survive another day.
We live on false hope, terrified by every sound, every shake, every moment of silence. Hunger is devouring our bodies, and fear is slowly killing us. All I wish for… is to keep my family alive.
I never asked for anything before, but today I write to you with a bleeding heart… please, help us. Anything, no matter how small, could save our lives. Don’t leave us alone in this darkness. Save us before we lose everything.
