From Nate 11/15/25

Good morning friends and family,

For those who are not aware, my sweet, beautiful wife Heaven Oliver suffered multiple ischemic strokes Tuesday morning requiring intensive hospitalization. She has been working fervently to regain lost function and overcome this event.

As she is entering surgery for multiple operations of the brain this morning, we humbly ask for continued blessings of protection and recovery at this time. She is strong, resilient, and we are both optimistic about the future. I hope to provide an update soon, as I know many are anxious for report.

Additionally, I would like to thank everyone who has reached out to our family with prayers, love, gifts, and so, so much more. We are blessed and touched by the outpouring of kindness we have received during this time. We love and appreciate all of our friends old & new, and our loving families—we will never forget it. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

As you can imagine this is going to put a huge financial burden on them as Heaven obviously can’t work and Nate is taking time off to be with her. Not to mention the huge medical bills that will accompany her hospital stay, surgeries and therapies in the upcoming months.

This is being created by a good family friend of the Olivers at the request of Tami Oliver. All funds will go directly to Nate.

Update, post-surgery:

Heaven has completed her operation with some complications of an unknown extent. Heaven is currently intubated with sedation and short-term support systems to allow for optimal recovery, and most importantly, overdue rest. She is comfortable, being assessed, and within the excellent care of the ICU and Neurology team. She may not wake for a few days, and I kindly ask any visitors in the interim to keep lights off and voices very low to permit healing. Please feel free to message or call me with any questions.

Update 11/16

Heaven is awake although still intubated at this time—the surgery was a wonderful success. Scans look great and the fluid and hemmorhaging on her brain are manageable and clear respectively. She has signaled to me she is free of pain using a communication board, and clearly still has her sense of humor as she pointed to “D C” (shorthand in our house for Diet Coke, which she has been fiending for since we got here.) She is in a fair mood, although the jury is still out on whether or not she is going to strangle me with this breathing tube when it comes out (hopefully) today. She is not a fan as evidenced by the continued motioning to it while giving the “disapproving wife” stare. Will monitor. ‍️

With all things considered and jokes aside, she remains resilient and tough as nails, and in this moment, we feel some relief and hope. God is good, and we are blessed with the continued excellent care here and the love of so many friends and family in our lives. She is told often about each and every one of you ❤️. Thank you so much—we are humbled and indebted.
