In 2007, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined.
I flatlined nine times. I was placed in a coma, put on life support, and when I finally woke up, I learned that I was paralyzed.
What followed were years of surgeries, rehabilitation, and the long, painful process of learning how to move again. Every step forward came with obstacles, setbacks, and more procedures than I ever expected to face in a lifetime.
But I refused to give up.
Through determination, rehabilitation, and an incredible amount of support from the people around me, I fought my way back to walking again. It wasn’t easy, and the journey has been anything but normal.
Now, I just under went my 12th major surgery.
While I remain grateful to be alive and able to keep moving forward, the reality is that the medical journey has also brought an overwhelming financial burden. Medical bills, recovery costs, and the time required for healing have created challenges that are difficult to manage alone.
That’s why I’m reaching out for help.
If you feel called to support my journey, any contribution, no matter the size, would mean more than words can express. Your support will go directly toward covering medical expenses and helping me focus on recovery and healing.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page would also mean the world to me.
After everything I’ve been through, I still believe deeply in resilience, in gratitude, and in the power of people coming together during difficult moments.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this chapter of my journey.
With gratitude,
Heath
