Our Beloved Heather needs us now more than ever.

Hi My name is Barbara "Barb" Doyle.

I'm one of many of Heather's dear Friends. As with most people who meet Heater, I was drawn to her deep Compassion, Good nature and Awesome Smile.

Little did I know when I met her that a serious infection would trigger an escalation of Chronic symptoms I had no idea she was dealing with. Over the course of the past few months I've seen her struggles first hand and knew I had to do something. I wasn't certain in what way I could provide practical support, but I knew I had to do something. This GoFundMe is my answer for now. I personally don't have the financial means on my own to be really helpful, but I can ask for others to help make Heather's Life less Stressful financially while navigating these rough waters.

Heather "Heater" has been and is a Bright light for Many of us and now it's our turn to hold the light for her.

I asked Heather to put into words the best she could her journey and what she needs. She graciously gave me the following words that I could share with You.

Here's Heather's statement.

For the past few years, I’ve been navigating a very long list of complex, chronic health conditions that have taken a significant toll on both my physical and mental well-being. A major infectious speed bump in March of this year worsened my condition significantly. As a result, I had to make the difficult decision to leave my career as a chiropractor and focus entirely on managing my health and trying to find my way back to a better quality of life.

My Health Story

I’ve been diagnosed with a number of debilitating conditions, including, but not limited to:

- Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

- Severe Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) & Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI)

- Hashimoto’s Autoimmune Thyroiditis

- Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD)

- Chronic Epstein Barr Virus (EBV, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and Chronic Lyme Disease

- Mycotoxicity from years of black mold exposure

- Interstitial Cystitis and Chronic Urinary Infections

- Severe tinnitus, migraines, and more - just to name some of them

These conditions affect nearly every aspect of my daily life. From chronic pain and debilitating fatigue to digestive and neurological issues, it's been a daily battle just to manage basic tasks. Unfortunately, the medical treatments I need are costly, and many of them aren’t covered by insurance. One visit to my out of network Complex Chronic Illness doctor usually costs about $1300 cash, for example.

Why I Need Your Help:

On top of my health struggles, I also have a mortgage to manage, and without the ability to work at my chiropractic office any longer, the financial burden has become overwhelming. I'm currently awaiting my appeal date for unemployment, as my claim was denied initially for a reason I've yet to find out.

Funds raised will help cover:

- Medical treatments and therapies: Including medications, supplements, specialized treatments, counseling, and appointments that are essential to managing my conditions. My supplements and medications cost over $500/mth on average, for example.

- Mortgage and living expenses: Assistance with my mortgage and basic living costs while I’m unemployed will help me stay afloat during this difficult time.

- Alternative therapies: PEMF therapy, Block Therapy, dietary treatments, and other non-traditional methods have been crucial in managing symptoms that standard medicine doesn’t always address.

When I emerge from this rocky chapter of my life, I'm certain I will be stronger and wiser than ever. I can't wait to share my knowledge with the world through my new online educational startup company - coming soon. I'm trying to create a life and career that allows flexibility for my health conditions. I also can't wait to support you in your time of need, as soon as I'm able!!!
