Support Heather McLaughlin’s Heart Surgery

Hi, my name is Tiffany Chin and I am fundraising for my co-worker and friend, Heather McLaughlin, who has to have open heart surgery on June 18th, 2024.

Earlier this year Heather was diagnosed with aortic aneurysm. Doctors think it was caused by an underlying congenital heart defect, a bicuspid valve. She has been putting it off for as long as she can but now, there is no putting it off.

I've been watching her struggle with the decision of "when" to do the surgery since she has been diagnosed, and wanted to reach out to our skating community and her friend circle to let them know she is undergoing this hardship.

Heather is told that the recovery time will be 2-3 months and she will not be able to work during that time. I know anything we give would greatly help.
