I am putting together this GoFundMe to support a good friend, my beautiful neighbor that was bitten by her own dog. It was a normal Monday morning, and she was leaving for work and went to say goodbye to her baby boy like she does every day with a kiss goodbye, and he just took one vicious bite and bit her nose completely off and her upper lip (almost completely off).

This was a family dog that has never once been vicious to anyone. We can all say, "My precious pup would never bite me." But Heather would have definitely said the same thing just 2 days ago. You cannot begin to imagine what she is going through at this time. She is hurting in so many ways.

Now she is faced with a tough, challenging road ahead. The way our healthcare system costs and insurances work is basically a joke. Doctors don’t even know how many surgeries she will need and/or what permanent damage she will endure. To have to add unbelievable medical bills and perhaps even be faced with not even being able to afford to do a surgery is unimaginable, unacceptable. This is where we, as animal lovers, as neighbors, as human beings, band together and help a wonderful soul that is having the hardest time right now. Anything will help, and trust me, we know most of us are struggling to just live right now. Anything helps. If you can’t give a little support financially, we get it; support by sharing.
