Our mom Heather is fighting the hardest battle of her life. Our mom is 43 years old, and has already spent 8 years fighting cancer, we thought she had beat it but Its come back, and much worst this time. She’s been diagnosed with terminal breast and spine cancer, the doctors told us we have 6 months left with her. Heather has 3 kids Savannah who is 19, Krysta who is 18 and Daxton who is 14, Despite everything she’s facing, she remains the strongest and most courageous person we know—always lighting up any room she walks into, always making us laugh, and always knowing exactly what to say and do when we need her most. She loves her children fiercely and has always wanted the absolute best for us. We are trying to make her last months as peaceful and meaningful as possible, but the reality is overwhelming. We are raising $30,000 to help cover the things no family ever wants to think about: her medical bills, her funeral expenses, counseling for our family as we prepare for the impossible, and — if we can — one final trip together. We want to give her one last experience that isn’t tied to hospitals or pain. One last memory filled with laughter, light, and love instead of fear. Something we can hold onto when she’s no longer here to hug us, talk to us, or say, I love you. We’re not asking because it’s easy. We’re asking because sometimes life hits you so hard and so suddenly that you don’t get the chance to financially prepare for what’s coming. We’re asking because community can be the thing that holds a family together when everything else feels like it’s falling apart. If you’ve ever lost someone, or watched someone you love fight for more time, you know how fragile and sacred these final months are. If you can donate, thank you from the deepest part of our hearts. If you can’t donate but can share this, that means just as much. And if all you can give is a prayer, a kind thought, or a moment of compassion, please know it is felt and appreciated. Every single act of support — no matter the size — helps us give my mom dignity, comfort, and love in the little time she has left.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us hold onto the little time we have left with the woman who has held our family together for so many years.
