My Journey, My Fight, and Why I Need Your Support

Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read my story. Asking for help is something I never imagined I’d have to do, but life has a way of pushing us into places we never expected.

Over the past months, my world has been turned upside down by a one-in-a-million diagnosis of adrenal cancer that has required constant appointments, testing, and difficult decisions. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay strong, stay informed, and stay hopeful — but the reality is that the road ahead is going to be even more challenging.

My medical team has recommended that I may need to undergo an aggressive surgery at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It’s the best path forward for my long-term health, and I’m grateful to have access to such specialized care. Unfortunately, the visits and travel involved are not covered by my insurance, and the out-of-pocket costs are far beyond what we can manage alone.

On top of that, I will need to take unpaid leave from work during treatment and recovery. As you can imagine, the combination of medical expenses, travel, lodging, and lost income creates a financial burden that is overwhelming.

That’s why I’m turning to my community — my friends, family, and anyone willing to stand with me during this fight.
