I am raising money for my older sister Heather, her husband Kevin, and their 3 small children (4, 2, and 3 months old). They are going through a serious financial hardship after my sister's 3rd baby was born. She has been diagnosed with a rare form of heart failure and has been in and out of the emergency room and hospital while juggling 3 babies under the age of 4. My brother-in-law has missed weeks of work (unpaid) and so has my sister (who has a remote job). My sister (Heather) is very strong and is not one to ever ask for help. But, her family really needs help from family, friends, and the community. She is still in the hospital, and our mother has flown across the country to help her. Any funds raised will go towards unexpected medical bills, loss of wages (unable to work), food, and travel expenses while they adjust to her illness. Heather and her family have an extremely long road ahead of them with extensive treatment expected. We are hoping and praying for her to recover.
