Our dear friend Heather Kniffin Welling and her family are experiencing financial hardships due to an unexpected illness. Heathers husband Eric has been diagnosed with Hemochromatosis. He was in the ICU at Upstate and transferred today to Strong Memorial in Rochester due to needing a liver transplant. He won’t even be able to get on a transplant list until he gets stronger for a transplant. Eric has been out of work for three months and they have a long road ahead of them with financial needs. Heather needs to be with Eric in Rochester, so she will also have the financial burden of paying for her own hotel room while she stays with her husband.
