My amazing friend Heather Pearl will be donating a kidney to her brother Blaine at the end of August. 25 years ago, Blaine had non hodgkin's lymphoma with a 5% chance of survival. At that time Heather donated bone marrow to him and he beat the cancer. His needing the kidney now is related to the cancer, treatment, and complications. Because Heather gave him bone marrow, the hope is that Blaine won't need as many anti-rejection drugs. Blaine has young children and this kidney will improve his quality and length of life.

During the preparation and donation process Heather is missing the summer work that helps her support her family during the year, and she is looking for support to take care of her family. Please help her do this amazing thing!
