Support Heather Wong's Family in Crisis

Hello there my name is Heather Wong and I have never had to do anything like this in my life but here we are. Let me start by telling you a little bit about my family. Me and my husband have been together for 32 years and this is the first time in our lives that we are homeless and no fault to our own. You see our landlord sold his home without a real notice. We had two weeks to find a place but we needed somewhere for low income as my husband is on disability for both mental and physical reasons. We thought we had found two different places to live but they both turned out to be scams and they both combined scammed us out of 2750 dollars to which the bank will not refund us as I get Zelle is not FCC backed. So we are out all of that money. Our daughter is struggling mentally right now also as she has not had her quiet space for about 5 weeks. Whatever money I had left had been spent on motels and food and I could not keep them in a car with two dogs, a cat, a snake, and a gecko.

I have tried everything possible to find help from CPS, my husband's social worker, and mental health places and I even keep trying to check on our Section 8 application. Still, none of those things have gotten us anywhere, I am seriously trying to keep myself together for all of them but I feel as though I may lose it any day now and then that would not be beneficial to my family at all. If you feel it in your heart to help us, I would truly appreciate it and forever be grateful for your kindness. We can afford the monthly cost of a place just not the first, last, and security deposit since the scam and having to pay for motel and food.
