My name is Debbie Goldberg and my niece’s name is Heather Scott Tuey. Her husband, Aaron Charles Tuey passed away on the 15th of August 2025 at 10:28 PM. He was 41. They had been married for 21 years. They have two children Aaron 19 and Autumn 15.
After attending Union school he became a Journeyman and then a Foreman for Skanska Construction. Aaron was a dedicated hard working husband and family man who worked in extreme heat and/or cold temperatures . He also had to drive to far away places for his job. Aaron was a wonderfully kind person to all who knew him and he had an amazing faith.
Aaron began a serious illness with getting Sepsis while hospitalized in 2021. By 2023 he was diagnosed with CMML Cancer. Aaron battled this cancer in and out of the hospital for the last two solid years. It riddled his body in so many ways requiring blood and platelets two to three times a week. We thought that Aaron had beat the cancer after he had received a bone marrow transplant and was in remission for 4 months until the cancer came back. He fought so hard to beat the cancer and we never expected him to lose that battle. He was strong and only 41 years old. His family were all with him at the hospital when he passed telling him how much we loved him. My niece would love to keep the home that Aaron dedicated his life working so hard for to take care of his family. So I am asking for donations to assist with mortgage expenses and the outstanding medical bills that are overwhelming.
My niece has been a stay at home mother homeschooling her children for over nine years, but intends to look for employment, along with her son to help support their family as soon as she can.
Thank you so much for your consideration and help.
