Support Heather Schmidt's POTS Recovery
Donation protected
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for Heather Schmidt, who is currently going through a difficult time due to a POTS flare-up.
Heather was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), a condition that causes her heart rate to spike dramatically when standing, along with a range of other debilitating symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, and brain fog, a couple of years ago. This illness is already hard to manage on a daily basis, but unfortunately, she is currently experiencing a severe flare-up that has left her unable to work or financially support herself.
Because of the severity of her symptoms, Heather had to take a break from her job and is struggling to make ends meet. Currently, she tries to come into work but often is able to work only limited hours. Medical treatments, doctor visits (Mayo Rochester and Avera Spencer), and the need for specialized care have also added to the financial burden. At the moment, she is focused on her health, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to pay for everyday expenses, let alone the extra medical costs.
We’re asking for your help to support Heather during this challenging time. Any donation, no matter how small, would go directly toward helping her cover living expenses, medical bills, and other costs associated with managing her condition. Your generosity will give Heather the breathing room she needs to focus on recovery without the added stress of financial instability.
How Your Donation Will Help:
- Medical appointments and treatments
- Prescription medications and supplements
- Daily living expenses (rent, utilities, food)
- Transportation to and from doctor’s appointments
We are incredibly grateful for any help you can provide. Your support means the world to Heather and will make a huge difference in her ability to get back on her feet.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Please consider sharing this page with others who might be able to help. Together, we can make this challenging time a little bit easier for Heather!
