Support Heather Murphy's Family in Their Time of Loss

We are family and friends of Heather and Dylan Murphy.

Heather was a loving, kind, intelligent, creative and beautiful woman. She was a wife, mother, sister, daughter, sister-in-law and daughter-in-law. Her beautiful smile could light up the room. She was loved by many.

Heather left for work on July 11 feeling fine, a vibrant 33-year-old, but during her workday fell ill and ended up in ICU at Memorial Hospital. It was unknown how long she had gone without oxygen. Doctors have struggled to find what triggered the illness as they worked to address serious issues that came up through-out the weekend. Many prayed for her recovery but an MRI scan revealed that there is too much damage to the brain. She wasn’t going to wake up. We never imagined this could happen, but it did. She was pronounced dead on July 18.

In the past Heather had nurtured her family; a loving husband, Dylan and two children Jensen age 11 and Hudson age 3. She leaves them behind and a community of friends and family who loved her dearly.

Heather’s family is left with an unimaginable void. As expenses surface and with a decrease in family income they are dealing with many additional unexpected expenses: medical bills, daycare expenses, funeral/memorial expenses, etc.

Dylan Murphy, her husband, will be receiving the donated funds to help the family transition into a one parent home.
