As many of you know, Heather was recently struck by a vehicle during a training ride on the morning of October 8. She suffered multiple injuries that required hospitalization and surgery to reconstruct her humerus and elbow joint.

The impact has significantly affected her ability to use her fingers, wrist, and hand on her left arm, and there is minimal movement at the elbow joint. Although her nerves are intact, they were severely damaged, leading to a challenging recovery ahead.

Despite these obstacles, Heather remains determined and is committed to working diligently to regain functional mobility.
