Support Heather In Her Battle With Breast Cancer

Hello everyone,

I have created this fundraiser for my oldest and dearest friend, Heather Walton and her family Lee, Astrid and Juno.

In late 2021, whilst feeding her baby, Heather discovered a lump in her breast that turned out to be breast cancer. Since Heather’s initial diagnosis, I have watched as she has bravely and silently battled several rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, the loss of her mum to a brain tumour, all the while being a wife to Lee and mother to two young girls. Oh and holding down a full time job.

I have watched as Lee (who was made redundant in 2022 in the midst of all of this) has worked odd jobs within his local community so that he could earn money for his family, yet still be there to drop his girls at school, pick them up, and support Heather with her treatment in whatever way he could.

They have asked for very little from their friends and family and have somehow managed to maintain a secure and happy home for their two girls.

The time is now approaching, where Heather needs to stop working so that she can give whatever energy she has to her family.

I know times are tough, but anything you can put towards supporting Heather and her family right now would be gratefully received.
