My name is Denise, and the pictures you see are of my daughter, Heather Gerlach, and her two children.

Heather has been courageously battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer for over four years. Throughout it all, she never missed a day of work and continued to care for her children as a single mother.

Unfortunately, her condition has taken another turn. In December we found out that her disease has progressed. Heather has not worked since December and likely will not be able to return to the job that she loves and the people she loves and cares for.
