On Thursday, May 22nd our world turned upside down. My wife, Heather Franks experienced a serious medical emergency at home and had to be flown immediately to University of Louisville Hospital. After an incredible team of medical staff worked tirelessly to stabilize her, she was sent into surgery early Friday morning to fix a stomach perforation. Her abdomen and several major organs were severely damaged and she remains in critical condition in a medically induced coma. The doctors explained that Heather has a very long road to recovery. God is working in her and our lives every moment and we have enormous faith that He will continue to work! We have already seen His miracles when she acknowledged our presence, shared the love from her babies and prayed over her.
Heather is a wonderfully loving mother to two beautiful children, 15 year old Chloe and 11 year old Brentley. She is such a caring, loving, and selfless wife and our 4 year anniversary coming up on June 11th. I have been by her side every step of the way. As you can imagine, this puts a great strain on our family financially.
We ask everyone that can, please help donate to alleviate this burden. There is no monetary value that can be placed on Heather’s life, but we know the need is there. These funds will help me and my family with food, fuel and utilities, medical expenses and such. If you are unable to help financially, please be sure to fervently pray for Heather, her hospital staff, and her family as much as possible! Also, please share this with anyone that you can. Every little bit will be a blessing that no words could truly express.
