We are raising funds to support Heather Thomas, a loving wife, mother, and step-mother who has been hit by an overwhelming and heartbreaking series of events.  

A few days ago, the water pipes in Heather’s home froze and burst on all three levels of the house. The damage is extensive and devastating. There are inches of ice covering the floors, ice cascading down stairways and walls, and the drywall on multiple ceilings and walls have collapsed and frozen solid. Tragically, the water ran unnoticed for at least a week, leaving the home unsafe and unlivable.  

This disaster comes at an especially painful time. Heather’s beloved husband and my father, Scott Thomas, passed away in February 2025, leaving her to navigate grief, loss, and daily life without her partner. On top of that, Heather has been bravely battling serious, life-threatening health challenges, which already place enormous emotional, physical, and financial strain on her.  

Now, she is facing displacement from her home while repairs are underway—repairs that will take time and coordination, all while she continues to focus on her health and healing. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering essential living expenses such as temporary housing, utilities, food, and other basic needs while her home is being repaired.  

Heather is someone who has always shown strength, kindness, and love to those around her. Right now, she needs that same love and support returned to her.
