Support Heather Adame After Chris' Tragic Loss

It is with great sadness that I share Heather Buller Adame’s husband, Chris, passed away Friday, May 9th, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

This is all so unexpected and heartbreaking for Heather and all of those who loved him.

He went to the ER on 4/9 with a cough he couldn’t shake and a headache. He also struggled with high blood pressure. They ended up admitting him and diagnosed him with pneumonia and parainfluenza, and told them that he was septic; the infection had spread.

He was responding well to treatment and seemed to be getting better. Then on Sunday, 4/13, his heart unexpectedly stopped.

The wonderful staff at the ICU was able to resuscitate him, but it took 7-8 minutes of CPR, and they weren’t able to get enough oxygen to his brain. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe for Chris’ body to recover from.

I know this is devastating news for many. Chris was a kind and generous husband, brother, son, son-in-law, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all of those whom his life has impacted. We are thankful for the time and memories here together and rejoice with Chris for earning his reward.
