Hi, my name is Dominic. I am a Life Scout from Troop 22 of Worcester, Massachusetts.

I am working on my Eagle Scout project, which is to build four pig houses and two cow feeders for the nonprofit Hearts For Hooves. The organization is run by a very kind woman named Deanna Gualtieri, who takes in animals that need to recover or who were at risk of being put down. She provides them with a safe, caring place until they can return to the wild, or, if that’s not possible, they live peacefully at the sanctuary.

She has already taken in two cows that were going to be put down, but they need stronger feeders because the ones currently in use keep breaking. For the pig houses, she has many pigs in her care and hopes to take in even more, but she needs more space to do so. By building these structures, I hope to help her continue giving animals the care and second chance they deserve.

Thank you for your support. Please note that any leftover funds will be donated to Hearts For Hooves so they can continue to care for even more animals beyond the scope of my project.
