Friends of HeartMatters NYC Counseling, it's been a while since I've done a bike ride for the counseling scholarship for HeartMatters NYC Counseling. Im back. On Saturday, June 28, 2025, I will be at SBT GRVL, Steamboat Springs, CO, doing a ride: 99 Miles | 7,926 Feet | 84% Gravel. As a member of a women's cycling team, Black Girls Gravel, I have been training since December 2024, so we are well-trained for this big gravel cycling event and charity ride.

For the recipients of this scholarship, the chance to work with a professional Christian counselor can be a life changing process as we enter into their stories of loss, tragedy and trauma. Then together, we seek and construct stories of hope, transformation and resilience .

On a more personal note, cycling has become an important part of my life. My goal is to promote cycling as a way to enhance mental wellness and pave the way toward a more peaceful and flourishing life walking with God.
