To improve Reproductive Health

Speciallady Awareness (Speciallady) is a Woman Reproductive Health Advocacy, that raises awareness on women reproductive health conditions and combat menstrual poverty.

The charity was established by Elizabeth Amoaa who is also the Author of the book 'The Unspoken Identity - The Woman with Two Vaginas.

This fundraising aims to raise funds to provide essential medical care towards women with reproductive health issues and combat menstrual poverty.

Background

Elizabeth founded Speciallady Awareness after she experienced a long health journey which ended up in multiple surgeries and complications. She decided to use herself to challenge, inspire and encourage women and young girls to seek early diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Elizabeth is the first black woman to share her story globally as a woman born with two wombs and two cervixes, two vagina canals and suffers other reproductive health disorders such as severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids, adhesions and many other illnesses.

Elizabeth believes that with ongoing education, seminars and workshops on menstrual hygiene, period poverty can be eradicated.

Also, women and young girls can have access to essential medical

care.
