Support Treatment for Stacy to Avoid Life-Altering Surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends,
I have recently found out that a cyst on my pancreas is precancerous. I have known about the cyst and have been monitoring under a doctor's care since 2021. In November of 2024 the MRI showed that the cyst had grown and a biopsy was done. The fluid was viscous and concerning and actually too viscous for the pathology labs to test it. I was referred to Vanderbilt Cancer Center and the pancreatic surgeon recommended a Distal Pancreatectomy surgery which would mean the removal of half of my pancreas, spleen and surrounding lymph nodes.
Because this surgery would be life-altering, I am pursuing another path to healing. There is an integrative cancer center in Mexico called Hope4Cancer that my friend Christin Hart went to for treatment and her results have been incredible. I called them today and they want to admit me as soon as March 20th.
Here comes the hard part... this treatment is not covered by insurance and costs $50,000. Some of you know that due to all of the recent changes in the federal government, Chuck no longer has a job as of this past Friday. Chuck and I love helping people but to be honest I am still learning how to let other people help me. So this is part of my healing journey too...asking for help. Thank you in advance for your love and support. I am a testimony in the making!
