This is the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time: reaching out for help. I'm sick to my stomach, but at this point, I have no choice. I want to preface this by saying that no one knows except work and my sister-in-law, Ashley. Ashley, for her expertise in medicine. Totally grateful for her! She has been sworn to secrecy and has respected that. For my family members, it is imperative that folks don't find out. I don't want them to worry about me.

Almost a year ago, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I went through the procedure, and thank God it didn't go into my bladder wall. If it had, I would be doomed. A few months later, it was checked on, and it's not healing right. Another procedure to scrape again. Results came back benign, thank God! One week after, I was feeling really sick. After a CT scan, I found out I have a redundant colon. ER surgery resolved it and put me out of work for almost a month.

A couple of months later, I'm not feeling quite right. Back to check on the bladder, and it's still not healing right. I didn't make it to my next procedure scheduled for 4/1. On 3/17, back to the ER. After many tests and the process of elimination, it turns out I now have a hole in my bladder. Urine had been leaking into my gut. As of today, I'm using a catheter, waiting to find out when my robotic surgery will be to close the hole. Waiting till I heal enough. Looking like 3-4 weeks. Healing time after that, plus having to use a catheter still, is putting me out of work for another 3-4 weeks. I can't afford this. I've already missed so much. I need help to stay independent, pay rent, and bills. My life is simple: rent, utilities, cell... I don't have any credit cards. Simple. I just need help paying for what I already owe and the future until I can get on my feet again. Anything you contribute will help me stay afloat, and I will be forever grateful. Truly a humbling experience. I've been healthy all my life and will never take that for granted ever again.
