Help Me Heal: Knee Surgery & Recovery Support

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with hope and gratitude as I prepare for an important step in my journey toward healing. For some time now, I’ve been struggling with a loose body in my left knee. The pain and instability have worsened to the point where it has seriously affected my mobility, and I can no longer postpone the surgery I need.

My doctors have scheduled me for surgery to restore stability and prevent further damage. While I am grateful to have insurance, it unfortunately doesn’t cover the full cost. My out-of-pocket portion for the procedure, plus the co-pays for the physical therapy I’ll need twice a week for 3–4 weeks afterward, adds up to more than I can manage alone.

On top of that, I will be out of work for about 6 weeks while I recover and focus on regaining full mobility in my left knee. This makes it especially difficult to cover both medical and basic living expenses during this time.

I am asking for $7,000 to help cover:

My share of the surgery costs not covered by insurance

Co-pays for physical therapy sessions

Support during my 6 weeks away from work while I recover
