It’s been more than 18 months since my initial breast cancer diagnosis. Despite the many methods I have tried for recovery, the cancer has grown and is now in both my breasts and underarm lymph nodes. I’ve used both conventional and alternative treatments and now feel called to turn towards the method of functional medicine.

In a few weeks, I will be traveling to Mexico to begin an integrative treatment protocol. I will be undergoing intensive immune treatment, nutritional support, detoxification, and IV therapy. The program is well known for its rigorous and holistic approach, which addresses the body, mind, and spirit. These treatments are intended to treat the cancer and cleanse my body, as well as support its innate healing abilities, something I truly believe in.
