I’m fundraising for Healing Ivy, my startup. Healing Ivy creates IV poles for your home, not your hospital. Funding will help me through the process of research and development, in order to make my dream a reality.

My startup was inspired by my personal experience. I used to do home infusions, and needed an IV pole next to my bed. As the aesthetically inclined 21-year-old I was, the device felt like it transformed my space into a clinical atmosphere. It didn't fit in aesthetically, and barely worked in terms of basic practical requirements. I remember researching and feeling frustrated by the lack of alternative options. The experience inspired me to make something better.

Healing Ivy is my effort to reimagine the concept of IV poles themselves. For long term patients, these devices become not just medical objects but pieces of furniture in their home. With this in mind, I'm working to develop innovate solutions that are both practical and aesthetically appealing. Solutions that help patients both with their physical health and emotional wellbeing. Support for this fundraiser will help me take those next important steps in bringing this idea to life and learning how to serve people well.

Every contribution and share means a great deal to me as I work to change the concept of what home health equipment can be. Every cent will go towards improving the lives of patients through innovation.
